Beginning with technology consulting, Workup’s ongoing relationship with Plaber has evolved into a much wider range of projects. The work has shifted toward digital strategy to support Plaber’s brands, which range from bags to professional cases to accessories companies. This has included the development of multiple e-commerce platforms and promotional activities for localised market segments.
Development of e-commerce systems and infrastructure for Barber Shop Bags, Plaber’s sister brand. The project focused on conveying brand values through user experience, while respecting the aesthetic and technical needs of Barber Shop Bags’ communications and sales configurations. Workup approached this goal by integrating language customisations, launching a “social room” that aggregates style suggestions, and creating a blog for user-generated content exchanges.
Creation, from conception, of Plaber Italia’s international-facing e-commerce platform for its High Performance Resin Cases (HPRC) brand. Plaber is now able, through the administration panel, to control the entire e-commerce by defining special lists, featured products, news and customizable windows. The user, has detailed product sheets, full of informations which accompany both the demanding professional and the passionate end-user. The e-commerce site also incorporated product reviews and a “social wall” for user-generated content. A secondary launch of the HPRC e-commerce platform was designed specifically for the U.S. market, built to support separate American suppliers and logistic conditions.
