RG Mania - Case Study E-commerce B2X
RG Commerciale distributes and sells to B2B operators and final consumers equipment and objects for bars and restaurants with a special focus on bartending trends.
For this project we have created an ecommerce platform dedicated to the consumer and business world, giving life to a real B2X.
Through an analysis of the needs of the customer and its users, together we have determined the objectives to be achieved through the new digital plan:
- Consolidate online brand reputation: obtain the desired brand positioning on the web, creating a real perception of the values and commercial proposal of RG mania.
- To better inform the potential client regarding offers / promotions in a multi-channel concept.
- Improve the user experience and retain it thanks to a powerful and easy-to-use platform.
- Increase online sales, from private channel and business channel.
The e-commerce site is aimed at both the Business / Ho.re.ca world and the final consumer.
To improve the online presence of RG, the fundamental elements for the realization of the platform were:
- Development of wireframes and graphics related to the prototype of the new platform based on the brief with the client and the stylistic preferences of RG Mania. The design and the UI have been elaborated starting from the analyzed data and from the criticality of the old platform.
- A platform that can be managed independently for all aspects of promotion and sales, integrating the tools dedicated to marketing activities: MailUp, Analyitcs, tool for managing coupons and search.
- The customer area: registered users have the possibility to access a reserved section in which to use the authentication functions, modification of their profile, easy check-out of the order and management of the wishlist.
- Research function with the integration of a dedicated tool.
- A statistics dashboard: the platform also allows the control of the sales situation through statistics and reports.
- Discount/gift management module: allows you to create discount codes in absolute value, percentage or with more elaborate dynamics.
All this has led to an increase in conversions also thanks to more qualified traffic and in line with the target audience.
The use of the search engine tool is positively correlated with the conversion rate, which is 170% higher in the sessions where the instrument is used.
